UPDATED: June 25, 2015 Whole Foods has not been honest with customers and been massively overcharging. That certainly appears to be inconsistent & contradictory to the mission of Jessica Alba and her company, The Honest Company who sell their products through Whole Foods. Please force accountability from Ms. Alba and The Honest Company by boycotting their products until they remove them from Whole Foods.

How Jessica Alba Built A $1 Billion Company, And $200 Million Fortune,
Selling Parents Peace Of Mind
Jessica Alba, mother of two young daughters, was recently in Forbes detailing the success of her $1 billion The Honest Company, a company she & co-founder Christopher Gavigan created out of frustration over not finding safe, eco-friendly, beautifully designed, convenient & affordable baby products.
By 2011 she had turned herself into an expert on consumer products and traveled to Washington, D.C. to lobby for updated legislation. She was — and is — particularly focused on reforming the 1976 Toxic Substances Control Act, which has allowed more than 80,000 chemicals to remain in household products untested. Only five are regulated by the Environmental Protection Agency; just 11 are banned from consumer goods. (In Europe that figure is more than 1,300.) “Enough people have to get sick or die from a certain ingredient or chemical before it’s pulled from the marketplace,” says Alba.
This is in part why Johnson & Johnson has been in the hot seat over cancer causing chemicals in their baby products until last year (removed only when the public forced accountability) and still currently in their adult products. Johnson & Johnson was again under fire when their baby powder was legally found to have caused ovarian cancer. The Honest Company was the answer to a dishonest Johnson & Johnson.
“When I became a mom, I finally became the person I am, that I always should have been,” she says. “It’s the most satisfying job in the world. But, it can also be overwhelming and confusing. I created The Honest Company to help moms and to give all children a better, safer start.” Jessica Alba
However, I wonder if Jessia Alba is aware that she’s helping moms give all childen a better, safter start while supporting a known child rapist Marc Gafi?
While Alba doesn’t have the time to travel the country educating retailers, she now has the next best person on her staff: her mother. A year ago Cathy Alba came on board at The Honest Company, spending two weeks a month telling store managers at Whole Foods and Buy Buy Baby outposts across the country about her daughter’s struggles with childhood illnesses. Cathy came out of retirement to take the gig. “I’m very much like Jessica,” she says. “All or nothing.”
Whole Foods knowingly & willfully was a Premium Sponsor of Success 3.0 Summit which Marc Gafni, a known child rapist, was member of the Leadership Team. Gafni (a former Rabbi) has also gone by the following names: Gafni was born Marc Winiarz
Rabbi Marc Gafni
Mark Gafni
Mordechai Winiarz
Mordechai Winyarz
Mordechai Gafni
And most Recently Dr. Marc Gafni
Jessica Alba and her partner Christopher Gavigan have a great concept going and while working hard taking money from the corrupt Johnson & Johnson is a bonus it doesn’t negate that they’ve turned around and helped support Whole Foods and known child rapist Marc Gafni. The Honest Company is on the boycott list until they pull all of their products and support from Whole Foods. There are plenty of honest companies The Honest Company can partner with but Whole Foods isn’t one of them. I’ve reached out to the company and will update.
